What was the Challenge??

Our aim was to provide you with a safe, exciting experience which you are able to share with friends and family and in doing so raising as much money as possible for The Noah’s Ark Appeal. We think that everyone who took part enjoyed their experience.

.The Cleddau Bridge Abseil challenge involved a free abseil of about one hundred and sixty feet from the bridge gantry to a waiting boat.  From this boat volunteers were transferred to one of the spectator venues by speedboat.

No previous experience of abseiling or any like activity was needed nor did it require any strength or technical skill.
THE ABSEIL IS ABSOLUTELY SAFE.  What steps did we take to ensure the safety of everyone? Click here

  • The aim - each person needed to raise £500 to join the challenge.
  • The Final Total exceeded £45,000 on the day - Congratulations to all who took part
